The rookie Malik Nabers led the New York Giants to their first win of the season, catching two touchdown passes from Daniel Jones in a 21-15 victory over the Cleveland Browns. Jones completed 24 of 34 passes for 236 yards, linking twice with Nabers in the first half to establish a 21-7 lead. Despite injuries to three offensive linemen and standout efforts by Deshaun Watson, the Giants' defense held strong, with Brian Burns stripping Watson to set up one of the TDs. Cleveland's Jedrick Wills Jr., Wyatt Teller, and James Hudson III sustained injuries, adding to the Browns' woes. Jones praised Nabers' awareness, particularly for breaking up a potential interception. In the first half, Jones was nearly flawless, and the Giants' defense sacked Watson eight times. The Giants face Dallas next, while the Browns travel to Las Vegas.
