The Chicago Cubs managed to turn around an early setback to claim victory over the Milwaukee Brewers, ending the game with a 6-4 score. Initially, the Brewers surged ahead with a 3-0 advantage, but the Cubs caught up in the third inning when Patrick Wisdom hit a three-run home run.

The Cubs persisted in closing the gap, adding one run in the fourth and then another in the sixth inning. In the seventh, Ian Happ contributed a decisive two-run single that gave the Cubs a lead they maintained for the rest of the game.

The game's starting pitcher for the Cubs, Drew Smyly, gave up three runs across two innings. Keegan Thompson provided relief by pitching four innings while allowing just one run. Codi Heuer came in to secure the final three outs, ensuring the win for the Cubs.

For the Brewers, both Willy Adames and Tyrone Taylor achieved two hits each, but their performances couldn't overturn the Cubs' successful rally in the later innings.
