The Toronto Maple Leafs concluded their series of three home games with an impressive win, defeating the Vancouver Canucks 7-2 on Thursday evening. After a goalless first period, the Leafs surged ahead by scoring four goals in the second period, ultimately securing the victory with ease.
Leading the charge for Toronto was Auston Matthews, who contributed a goal alongside two assists. Mitch Marner also made a significant impact with a goal and an assist. Additional goals came from John Tavares, Ilya Mikheyev, and Morgan Rielly for the Maple Leafs.
